Worship experiences

Friendship Church's weekly worship experiences combine contemporary worship music by the FC Worship Band and dynamic preaching from Pastor Curt Simmons.

We have two identical worship experiences every Sunday morning at 9:30 & 11 am. Children's programs for babies through fourth grade run during both worship experiences.

We are located at 501 W. Boggess Street in Saint Jo, Texas. People from all over Montague and Cooke counties attend FC weekly - it's a short and easy drive. Here's a map.

Before visiting, watch a message or two right here on our web site. And, download the free Friendship Church app from your app store (for iPhone / iPad, Android, and Windows Phone).

Your kids will love Friendship Church!  Featuring a new state-of-the art children's center, your kids receive age appropriate teaching during the worship hour from caring and skilled FC children's teachers.

We use the FellowshipOne security system.  Each child wears a security label and the parent receives a matching label, ensuring that only the parent can pick up his / her child from a class.  New here?  You can pre-register your children in our system before you visit.

We offer the following during Sunday morning worship:

Friendship Babies - for children 0-12 months.

Sonshine Kids - for children 13 - 36 months.

The Ark - for children 3 and 4 years old, featuring simple lessons and play time.

Children's Theater - for children 5 years old - 2nd grade, featuring a video driven, interactive curriculum.

Heroes - for 3rd and 4th graders, featuring the Grapple pre-teen curriculum.

Friendship Church's Student ministry is called Fusion. Our student ministry includes two groups, junior high (7th & 8th grade) and high school (9 - 12th grade). Fusion weekly meetings are currently on break for the season.

We follow a "learn & serve" model where students learn from God's word and also serve at FC.  As such, on typical Sunday, you'll see students of all ages serving in various parts of the church (greeting, kids programs, technology, worship, and more).

Fusion students also attend summer camp as well as other periodic events that are fun, challenging, and engaging.

Family night

NOTE: Family Night has currently ended for the season.  Check back for updates!

Life is better together - and it's especially better in a small group! Every Wednesday night is family night at FC!  On Wednesdays, dinner is provided free of charge from 5:45 - 6:45 pm, and then the following groups meet afterward:

  • Explorers' Club: for children ages pre-k - 4th grade. An interactive class featuring the Hands-On Bible curriculum.
  • Neon: for children 5th-6th grade.
  • Fusion: FC's Student Ministry for 7th grade - 12th grade.
  • REAL Women's Group: topical and casual discussion and fellowship.
  • Man Up men's group: topical and casual discussion and fellowship.

Childcare is available during the group meetings free of charge. Come and hang out with friends (and you'll be out the door and on the way home by 8 pm).

Groups, classes, events, and more

In addition to our weekly activities, FC offers periodic classes, groups, and special events.

We call these gatherings "Connect."
